Healthy living should work in the life you are actually living.

Culinary health and wellness coaching for women in midlife and beyond.

Most of us already know that nourishing food, regular movement, restorative sleep, and less stress matter. The difficulty is knowing how to bring those pieces together in a way that makes sense for your body, your responsibilities, and the rhythms of your everyday life.

The choices we make each day matter — but they do not happen in isolation.

What you eat, how you move, the sleep you protect, and the ways you care for yourself can shape how you feel today as well as how you live in the years ahead. Yet those choices are influenced by far more than motivation. They are shaped by your habits, your environment, your responsibilities, your health, and the skills and support available to you.

Hi. I’m Karen, a Culinary Health & Wellness Coach for women in midlife and beyond who want not only to live longer, but to live those years with greater strength, energy, confidence, and connection.

As a chef trained at the Culinary Institute of America and a certified health and wellness coach, I bring together food, cooking, science, and behavior change to help you create a healthier way of living that is both meaningful and realistic.

Food and cooking are often where we begin, but they are not where we end. Together, we look at the larger patterns that support your well-being - including movement, sleep, stress, energy, and the ways you respond to what your body is telling you.

A thoughtful path from intention to everyday practice.

Lasting change is rarely the result of one perfect plan. It develops as you become clearer about what you want your health to support, more aware of the patterns shaping your choices, and more capable of putting what you learn into practice.

My coaching follows a five-part framework designed to help you move through that process with greater understanding, skill, and confidence.

Envision

Clarify the life you want your health to support.

Notice

Recognize the habits, patterns, and circumstances influencing your choices.

Build

Develop cooking capability, supportive routines, and practical systems.

Continue

Move forward with greater confidence, independence, and trust in yourself.

Wondering whether coaching could help?

A free 30-minute consultation gives us a chance to talk about what is bringing you here, what you would like to change, and where things may be feeling more difficult than they need to be.

I will answer your questions, explain how the coaching process works, and help you decide whether it feels like the next right step.

What is culinary health and wellness coaching?

My three-month coaching program follows a clear path from envisioning the life you want your health to support to building the skills, systems, and confidence to carry that vision into everyday life.

Knowing what to do and living it are two different things.

Lasting change rarely begins with more willpower, stricter rules, or a perfect plan. It begins with understanding what is shaping your choices, recognizing where you need support, and finding changes that can fit into the life you are already living.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that small choices become more powerful when they are supported by skill, awareness, and steady practice.
